Then a Messiah came who didn’t need to gain power–He contained it all within Himself. He didn’t need angry rebels, zionist Zealots. He chose the defeated cripples, the demon-possessed, dishonorable women. He chose the hungry and the sad who thought they were cursed. He told them they are blessed in the Kingdom of God. The empire tried to trick, deceive, and kill him. But they couldn’t kill a man who chose to give his life away.
